Video Downloader has no accounts and no sign-in. The links you paste and the files you save stay on your device. This policy explains the limited data the app and its partners process.

1. Data processed on your device

Links you paste or share are sent to a video resolution service (TikWM, and our own fallback server tikapi.theyourlist.com) only to look up the downloadable media for that link. We do not keep a history of links on our servers.
Downloaded files are saved to your phone's gallery (Movies, Music and Pictures › Video Downloader). Your in-app library list is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear it in the app.
Settings (language, preferred quality) are stored locally.

2. Data collected by third-party services

Google Analytics for Firebase	Anonymous usage statistics and app stability (e.g. which features are used, whether a download succeeded)	App instance ID, Advertising ID, device model, OS version, country, app interactions. We never send links, captions or file names.
Unity Ads	Showing banner, interstitial and optional rewarded ads to free users	Advertising ID, IP address, device information, ad interactions. See Unity's privacy policy.
Google Play Billing	Premium subscriptions and the lifetime purchase	Handled by Google Play; we receive only a purchase token to confirm your Premium status. We never see payment details.

Data is encrypted in transit. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings › Google › Ads, and opt out of personalised ads there. Premium removes all ads.

3. Data sharing and sale

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers above for the purposes listed.

4. Retention and deletion

Local data is removed when you clear the library or uninstall the app. Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months. To ask us to delete any data associated with your device, email us with your request; we will respond within 30 days.

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

6. Permissions

Internet (to fetch media) and, on Android 9 and older only, storage (to save files to the gallery). Android 10+ saves through the system media store without any storage permission.
